Secure Vaults
Deduplicated, encrypted storage targets on local NVMe, NAS, or any S3-compatible cloud provider (AWS, Wasabi, B2).
Learn moreEnd-to-end client-side encrypted backup orchestration. Store immutable snapshots into any S3 bucket or local disk with dual Restic & Kopia engines and 24/7 hardware telemetry.
Native high-performance desktop cockpit with bundled Restic & Kopia engines and 24/7 background telemetry.
dewDrive combines the world's most trusted open-source backup engines into a unified, high-performance desktop cockpit with automated deduplication and chunking.
Rock-solid cryptographic verification with AES-256 and Poly1305 MAC. Ideal for deep archival, network mounts, and local SSD storage vaults.
Ultra-fast parallelized uploads designed for large cloud object storage. Built-in compression and high-throughput multi-stream synchronization.
From disk-level telemetry to instantaneous point-in-time recovery, dewDrive guarantees you always own your backup chain.
Deduplicated, encrypted storage targets on local NVMe, NAS, or any S3-compatible cloud provider (AWS, Wasabi, B2).
Learn moreA dedicated recovery cockpit allowing you to navigate historical snapshot timelines and execute zero-collision restores.
Learn moreContinuous background hardware monitoring tracking SSD SMART health, drive temperatures, and process uptime.
Learn moreEverything you need to know about zero-knowledge encryption, Secure Vaults, and autonomous backup.
All your files and snapshot blocks are encrypted client-side on your local machine using AES-256-GCM or ChaCha20-Poly1305 before they ever touch your Secure Vault or cloud storage provider. Neither dewDrive servers nor storage providers (AWS, Wasabi, Backblaze) ever receive your master keys or unencrypted data.
A Secure Vault is an encrypted, deduplicated storage target powered by production-grade engines (Restic or Kopia). A Secure Vault can reside on local NVMe/SSD storage, an NFS/SMB network share, or any S3-compatible cloud object store.
Yes. dewDrive gives you total storage autonomy. You can connect any AWS S3, Wasabi, Backblaze B2, MinIO, Cloudflare R2, or custom S3-compatible storage endpoint with zero markups or lock-in.
Time Machine is an isolated, visual restoration cockpit. It lets you browse historical snapshot timelines across all connected nodes, preview files without restoring, and execute zero-collision point-in-time restores with a single click.
dewDrive provides native, high-performance desktop clients and lightweight daemon services for macOS (both Apple Silicon ARM64 and Intel x86_64), Windows 10/11 (64-bit), and Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, AppImage).
The dewDrive agent continuously monitors disk SMART telemetry, SSD wear levels, process health, memory pressure, and snapshot consistency, dispatching alerts before drive failure occurs.
